Ikoma Bush Camp, Serengeti National Park, Tanzania

Great promo video for Ikoma Bush Camp, on the edge of the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. The clip shows the lodging accommodations, detailed room photos and the eating and restaurant facilities. It also highlights some of the animals you'll see near the camp, as well as during both day and night safaris. Notable are the giraffes and elusive leopard!

Elephants in the Serengeti taking a bath

Great short clip of elephants taking a bath on a Serengeti safari in Tanzania. It's fun to see the elephants splashing around getting cool and clean, but even better is the enormous number of elephants in the herd in the background - I've never seen that many elephants in one video clip before!

Tanzania safari - Cheetahs, Wildebeest & Elephants

Here's a nice compilation video of a safari adventure in Tanzania. The photos and videos cover off all the major Tanzanian wildlife parks such as the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire. and Lake Manyara, with an emphasis on the "Big 5": lion, the leopard, the buffalo, the rhino and the elephant. Interestingly, it also charts some of the travel and people involved for a good, well-rounded perspective.

vicious giraffe fight on safari in Tanzania - warning

Warning - this giraffe fight filmed on safari in Tanzania is pretty vicious. Both giraffes seem to walk away unharmed, but the speed and viciousness of their neck attacks are something to behold, and the shocked comments from the tourists in the video only add to that. We observed similar behaviour first hand on our trip to Africa, but nothing as forceful and loud as this. As far as I know, the truly devastating attacks come from their hind legs, but still...

silent film of Noodle Making in Zanzibar, Tanzania

Interesting (but unfortunately and puzzlingly silent) video on noodle making on Zanzibar, Tanzania, off the east coast of Africa. I just love noodles, so seeing this process, especially on the island of Zanzibar makes me salivate!
